The Regional Perinatal Coordinator willassist in providing for the management of patient care by means of clinical expertise gained in a specialized aspect of nursing care for the Perinatal patient/department. Responsibilities will include:Manages the NYS RPC Grant and Contract:a. Coordinates with finance and provider groups for contracts and grantsb. Coordinate grant reports submissionsc. Prepare all grant invoices for sign offd. Coordinate grant and contract renewalse. Maintain primary contract with the NYS grant staff; oversee all grant dataf. Meet deadlines for grant submissions and write quarterly reportsg. Manage budget to grant parametersPerformance Improvementa. Identify and evaluate outcomes of RPC grant contractsb. Work with the VP for MFCH, Medical Leaders, Director of Quality and Safety on quality improvement activities for the RPCc. Assure that all appropriate parties have quality data and can speak tot eh outcomesOutreacha. Represent WMC Health to the PRC affiliates. Is the face of the RPCb. Coordinate and attend the quarterly meetings at each affiliatec. Assess affiliate programmatic and educational needs and help to meet affiliate needsd. Assess transfer and other data and recommend improvement activitiese. Accept requests from affiliates for information and help and direct appropriatelyData Basesa. Supervise the RPC staff that input datab. Oversee the data bases and data management of the RPCAdministrativea. Support and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, philosophy and mission of WMC Healthb. Interpret and implement policies and proceduresc. Supervise and direct staff and functions consistent with HR policies and grant requirementsLicense:Current licensure in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse. Other certifications as required in aspecialty area.Training and
minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in their specialty area.
