Job Summary:

The Wellness Coordinator will support the Rural Communitie4s Opioid Response Program Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (RCORP-NAS) by providing logistical, organizational, and implementation support for the daily activities. Under the direction of the Program Director, the Wellness Coordinator coordinates care with referral sources and contractors to ensure the clients receive authorized services. The Wellness Coordinator works collaboratively with other organization leaders and stakeholders to support the delivery of effective services. In addition, the Wellness Coordinator will provide support and training to community partners, program promotion and implementation, data tracking, and supervisor to RCORP-NAS activities in the Catskill region. Position contingent upon grant funding.

Responsibilities:

Support implementation of an OUD/SUD monitoring program for women of child-bearing age. Direct peers support specialist program across RCORP-NAS grant-served areas. Ensures the effective delivery of services in accordance with extant professional, ethical, and legal principles. Coordinates with referral sources and acts as liaison for the program. Engages in activities that will increase the referrals. Supports and models the use of evidenced-based family therapy practices. Coordinates and monitors service coordination agreements and contract with referral sources and other providers. Directs the development of a complimentary services directory. Support consortium efforts for community integration of persons in recovery. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience:

4 years’ experience; Associate’s degree plus 2 years’ experience; or Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health field preferred.

Education:

Experience in recruiting, supervising, and working with other adults. Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and integrate evaluation data.
