Job Details:
Under limited supervision, the Electrician installs inspects and repairs all electrical equipment, wiring and fixtures as needed in all hospital owned property following all Federal, State, Local, National Electric, NFPA and Life Safety codes relating to the electrical field.
Experience:
- Licensed Electrician with at least two (2) years experience.
- Must have good working knowledge of the electrical code.
- Must be familiar with use of all electrical tools.
Education:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Electrical Trade School.
Licenses/Certifications:
- N.Y.S. Drivers License
Other:
- If applicable, the individual performing this job may reasonably anticipate coming into contact with human blood and other potentially infectious materials. Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction background.
