The Director is responsible for the leadership within the Wound Healing Center. The Director represents the Wound Center in an administrative role to hospital administration, other hospital departments, Wound Center physicians, referring physicians and other customers of the Wound Center. The Director is responsible and accountable for daily operations, fiscal management, marketing, administrative policies, personnel management, performance improvement, and clinical practices to ensure the delivery of quality care.
- Registered Licensed RN required; bachelor’s degree in healthcare affiliated or business field preferred.
- Min. 5 yrs. clinical exp.; acute care exp. Preferred for RN; min. 3 yrs mgmt. Exp. in a healthcare setting.
- Familiar with PC’s, basic word processing spreadsheet functions; knowledge of financial reports; regulatory and accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations; basic knowledge of performance improvement mechanisms/ NYS RN LICENSE
