Job Summary
- Responsible for the maintenance of the hemodialysis machines and water systems.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of Bicarb delivery system, R/O water system, and hemodialysis machine.
- Assists with receiving, storage and rotation of Dialysis supply inventory.
- Maintains essential records for QC Monitoring.
- Responsible for monitoring eye wash and refrigerator monitoring logs.
- Assists with break down of Dialysis machines as needed.
- Assists with patient transfers and weighing as needed.
- Adheres to Infection Control practices in the Dialysis unit.
- Adheres to patient confidentiality.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
- EXPERIENCE
- Prefer 1 yr hospital experience and / or 1 yr hemodialysis experience

EDUCATION
- Minimum – High School diploma; preferred – 2 yr. College degree

- BLS Certification

- While performing this job, the employee will frequently be required to walk, sit and stand, employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift or more up to 50 lbs., and on occasion, lift or move up to 100 lbs. The job requires close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

- While performing this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation.
