Job Summary:

The hemodynamic technician is responsible for performing technical and patient care treatment activities under the direct supervision of the medical and clinical staff. The position will appropriately document all procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization lab, utilizing specialized equipment and computer software and prepare charges for equipment used during the procedure.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of clinical patient care experience involving cardiac cath laboratory procedures and utilization of related specialized equipment required.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in health related field preferred.

Licenses / Certifications:

BLS certification required.
