Job Summary:

We are seeking a well-trained Nurse Practitioner to join our Division of Outpatient Mental Health Services. The position is based in the Mental Health Clinic at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York. Primary responsibilities include assessment and treatment for child and adolescent patients in that clinic as well as patients in the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program at Health Alliance Hospital in Kingston, New York. Services in the two programs are provided on site as well as through telehealth. The successful candidate for this position must have training and clinical experience in a child and adolescent psychiatry program.The Nurse Practitioner hired for the Division of Outpatient Mental Health Services will have responsibility for providing services to children and adolescents, including screenings, diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, prescribing. The Nurse Practitioner will function as part of a multidisciplinary team. The responsibilities will additionally include reviewing patients' physical health and medication records to determine if any medical conditions are likely to impact their mental health treatment. This is an employed position through WMC Advanced Physician Services, which is a subsidiary professional corporation of WMCHealth. Benefits are comprehensive and include (minimum work hours apply):

Qualifications / Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing. Nurse Practitioner certification in Psychiatry. Valid New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner.
