Job Details:
Experienced in performing echocardiography (ECHO) per the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Standards and Guidelines for both Adult and Pediatric Echocardiography. Variable shifts; weekdays, weekends and on-call, as needed. Performing pediatric/adult echocardiography in all acute-care inpatient, emergency and outpatient settings. Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years pediatric/adult echocardiography
Education:
Cardiac ultrasound program Licenses / Certifications: Active and good standing: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS); or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from CCI With PE Specialty, preferred.
Other:
Document at least 15 hours of echocardiography-related CME over a period of three years. Fifteen CME hours must be echocardiography-related; 10 hours must be relevant to pediatric echocardiography Special Requirements: Current American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for Healtcare Professionals (BLS) Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization(PEARS), preferred
