Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant to join the Heart and Vascular Institute at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, as part of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiac Care Unit Invasive Services. The candidate should demonstrate general cardiology experience with a focus on efficiency and patient satisfaction. Experience in interventional cardiology/cath lab or heart failure/critical care would be welcome. Job

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessing and managing patients in preparation for and recovery from invasive percutaneous cardiac procedures in the inpatient setting, pre-admission evaluation and the workup of patients for interventional procedures, access site management including the insertion and removal of arterial and venous catheters and devices, and general clinical support to the interventional and critical care physicians, including hand-off of patients to the intensive care units and telemetry floors post-procedure. The PA will work full-time, Monday-Friday.
