Summary:

The Department of Radiology is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Radiologist to join our team at HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston, NY. The candidate must have an active NYS medical license or be eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all clinical operations in the Department of Radiology.
  • Devise and implement a Quality Assurance/Quality improvement program for the Department of Radiology.
  • Develop a strategic plan for the Department of Radiology and provide direction for the development of new clinical programs in the Department of Radiology.
  • Assure the Department of Radiology meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Select and supervise the radiologists and other providers in the Department of Radiology.
  • Assist in the selection of new equipment in the Department of Radiology.
  • Develop an excellent working relationship with referring services at HAHV to assure optimal interdepartmental communication and feedback.
  • Work closely with administration at HAHV and the Network Director of Radiology to assure optimal imaging services are provided 24/7/365.
  • Participate in departmental educational activities as needed.
  • Provide clinical imaging services as needed.
